Windows — SmartScreen: “Windows protected your PC”
This build is not yet signed for SmartScreen reputation. Click More info then Run anyway. The ZIP portable build never triggers this warning.
macOS — Gatekeeper: “Palace is damaged / cannot be opened”
First launch: open System Settings > Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway for Palace. Or run: xattr -cr /Applications/Palace.app
Linux — AppImage: “Permission denied”
chmod +x Palace-*.AppImage and run it. On Wayland, no extra step — on X11, compositing must be enabled for live-wallpaper mode.
Android — “Install blocked”
Enable Install unknown apps for your browser in Android Settings. The Play Store build never needs this.
